I will provide UPMC? health insurance for the entire family of the employee. This will be a significant benefit, but one intended to keep the good employees working for me. It would make sense to only support one insurance company, but I am confident that the insurance provider will be something that most if not all employees will appreciate. Since UPMC health insurance, and UPMC hospitals are working together, there will be the extra benefit of the hospitals being teaching hospitals with the resident doctors coming from the University of Pittsburgh. The employee will have to opt in to the health insurance, but I will assume that I will be covering half of the bill with the family included into the health insurance.
