When opening the laundry closet, the lavatory, or entering the hall, there will be lights that would automatically turn on once it detects movement. The lighting will remain on until 5 minutes of no movement detection. While not as efficient as turning on or off lights, the system will be relentless in turning off when it is sure that no one will be entering the space. As expected, all light bulbs should be LED bulbs. They are cheaper in the long run, last longer, and cost less electricity for the apartment management to deal with.
