Any building of 3 floors or higher will have an elevator for ADA compliance. With that said, if you aren’t able to use the stairs for any reason, then the elevator will be provided for. Obviously shorter buildings will have fewer elevators than taller buildings, but the elevator will be integral for most properties that FSP Realty might acquire. If for some reason, the elevator can’t be installed, then that would be noted on the building’s website. This will be essential for providing services to those that needs an elevator, and speaking of someone with experience, it took me 20 minutes to climb more than 8 floors of steps because of the pain which has made me more out of shape which contributed to that, but I would definitely have a hard time of using stairs. I also believe that buildings of 5 stories or taller must have elevators.
