While there are in unit machines that you would have available to you, if you need double load machine, then you can go to the laundry room within the basement. You are required to remove your clothes promptly when using the building’s machines. This will mean you will need to be in the laundry room when the machines are about to finish. Washers run about 40 minutes, so you would want to head down there about 30 minutes after starting your machine. The dryer runs 60 minutes, so you would want to head to the laundry room about 50 minutes before the machine finishes. This will allow for elevator wait times, and to assure you are in compliance with the policy.
Hopefully in most buildings, there will be a table and chair to support for the tenants while they wait for machine to finish. You would be able to access the guest network so you would have access to the internet without using your data plan. If this is not an option, create a 30 minute, and 50 minute timer in your phone’s clock app.
