In each bedroom, and in the office, there will be a safe. This safe will have biometrics for authorization. This information will be in the manual that you are provided. Once you set up the safe, you can use it as you see fit. Since the safe is likely to run on batteries, you are responsible for replacing those batteries, and FSP Realty is not required to provide you with batteries. If you need your safe open because you allowed the batteries to go dead, you would need to make a house call. You must be in the same room as the safe that you need to open. If you lock the safe before replacing the batteries, you would have to get another house call.
When you move out, any files in the safe will be held over for 7 days before FSP Realty shreds the files that were in the safe. The destruction of the files is for your privacy. If your items are destroyed, they can not be recovered, and FSP Realty is not responsible for the cost of said items. This is why you would be given 7 days to collect your items.
