The great room is a living room with fewer walls. However, some floor plans may have a living room with wall segregating the space. In either instance this page will note that. The great room like the bedrooms will have windows. You will also have space for a couch, some chairs, and maybe a love seat or two. There will be a TV wall which you will be able to load 5 devices that have an ethernet port. There will also be 1 coaxial jack for either OTA?, cable, or FiOS? television. I would imagine that both Verizon, and Xfinity will provide for local channels. You can plug an OTA DVR? to the ethernet port by the window sill if you aren’t getting the channels you want. Rather than using the coaxial for OTA television, you would use the DVR’s app on a smart TV to watch recorded or live content.
The great room will also have access to the kitchen and a lavatory. The lavatory is important as the person does not have to go to the other end of the apartment to use the toilet. The kitchen will be suitable enough to support a family of the intended apartment’s size. For example, you would not have a kitchen for a 4B apartment if you live in the studio.
