In the communications closet will be switches, and a network server. There are also sensors, and other machines. You are to leave these items alone, and not bother with them. These are essentials for making your unit operate properly. When you leave, you are to not take any of these items with you. If you do, you will lose your security deposit, and have criminal charges filed against you. Again, just leave these items alone, and don’t mess with them. The communications closet will be locked and will require management to unlock the door if you need to do something like set a POE? port. The person opening the door for you will have basic knowledge of everything, and will be able to set the ethernet port to the right POE switch.
