Not offered by most property owners, I feel that telephone should be essential for the modern society we live in. How many times did the doctors, employers, or even realty companies need your telephone number. If you do not have a reliable telephone number, then you would be able to use the telephone line that is associated with your apartment. You will not be able to port the number as it is not legally your telephone number. Your manual will disclose your telephone number, and it is recommended that you set up service even if you have a telephone number that you would likely use above this one.
The way you can determine your phone number will be ready. All of FSP Realty’s telephone lines will begin with 412 555. Your apartment extension is your subscriber number. In example, 701 which is the first apartment numerically will receive the extension of 0701. This will be the subscriber number. You will then provide 412 555 0701 as your telephone number. This will mean that if you move, you would be have to change your telephone number. Again, this is FSP Realty’s telephone number, and not yours. If you lose your number because you moved, that is the consequences of moving.
You also can not support RCS, or SMS messages with the phone number. This is not a cellular phone, and will use the building wide telephone wifi? network to make and receive calls. If for any reason, you move to another unit, you would have to setup voicemail again, and give people the new telephone number which again is based off the new apartment number you are now in. This is not the most convenient or stable option, but if you have no other options, then this is your best option.
